Falcon Text - Staff

Welcome to the instruction page to opt in to receive text messages through Daytona State College Falcon Text.  This page will assist you in order for you to "join" by opting in to the keywords offered through Falcon Text.

You "join" by sending a text from YOUR cell phone.  This is the only way to join the program.  The process is a double opt-in procedure.

1. First you send the keyword for the group you are joining to 368638. You will then receive back a response instructing you to reply the number "1".

2. Reply "1" and it goes back to 368638. Then you will receive instructions to reply the word "yes".

3. Reply "yes" and it goes back to 368638.  This completes the opt-in process.

You can opt out ANY TIME by replying the word STOP to any message you get from Falcon Text.

When you receive a text message from Falcon Text you CANNOT text back to the College.  You are receiving the text from a SHORTCODE number 368638 only.
