Welcome to the 2010 Summer Camps of Daytona State College!
Designed to be a fun and educational experience, the upcoming summer camp programs at Daytona State College offer a variety of four-day and week-long camp opportunities for children aged eight through 18.
“Summer Photo Camps” for children aged eight to 11, and 12 – 15, begin Monday June 14 at the Southeast Museum of Photography. “A Splashy Summer For Kids” is presented by the Daytona State College Aquatics Center and features seven sessions of week-long camps starting Monday June 14 with the Fitness & Fun Camp for children aged nine to 14, and SCUBA Training for children aged 12 – 18.Camps continue July 12 with Jr. Lifeguarding for children aged 11 – 14; and SCUBA Training for children aged 12- 18, and July 19 with SCUBA – Advanced Adventures for children aged 12 – 18. For competition level swimmers, learn the training tips of World Record Holder and Olympic Champion, Ryan Lochte, during week-long camps hosted by Daytona State. Head Coach of the College’s Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving program for both men and women, Steve Lochte will serve as Camp Director and will be assisted by Kristen Lochte, a six-time All-American for the National Champions. Daytona Motorsports Summer Academy 2010 Presented by the Center for Community & Professional Education at Daytona State College this summer academy for gifted or high-achieving students in grades eight through 12. Little Falcon Fastpitch Academy will be held Monday, Aug. 9 and Tuesday, Aug 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
