Our Role
Students deserve dependable, accurate, respectful, honest, friendly, and professional service. However, this can only be achieved through a cooperative effort and responsibility is shared by the student.
Your Role
It is each student's responsibility to be aware of College rules, regulations, deadlines and procedures. It is also the student's responsibility to obtain and read the current catalog, student handbook and other publications to keep up-to-date with this information.
Student Handbook--Academic Integrity Code/Student Code of Conduct
In order to preserve academic excellence and integrity, the College expects you to know, understand and comply with the Academic Integrity Code, which prohibits academic dishonesty in any form, including,
but not limited to, cheating and plagiarism. Additionally, students accept the reponsibility to be acquainted with and comply to published College regulations and to respect the rights and property of other members.
Academic Calendar - Important Deadlines
The Academic Calendar is available in the current College Catalog and online on the link above. Students are responsible for knowing important deadlines including but not limited to: Registration dates, add/drop dates, withdrawal deadlines, graduation application dates.
The Office of Student appeals provides students an opportunity to appeal certain situations (i.e. financial aid suspensions/ineligibility; full cost of tuition; withdrawals/drops after posted deadlines, etc.) based on documented extenuating circumstances).
The Ombudsperson explores all facets of a particular problem or situation and attempts to resolve them in the most expedient way, while adhering to College policy and procedures.
