This diverse area of Daytona State College provides access to education for individuals where they are in their educational journeys. Students who do not have a high school diploma or who are non-native English speakers attend classes in the School of Adult Education. Students who have completed their AA degrees enroll in the BS program to obtain a Bachelors in one of the education programs found in the School of Education. Also in the School of Education is the Educator Preparatory Institute where individuals who already have a Bachelors or advanced degree prepare to become teachers.

In our varied “state of the art” labs and classrooms, students are shown the newest techniques in reading and mathematics.  In addition, our bachelor degree students have the opportunity to practice these techniques during their field experience time with students in our two county school districts.  Students in the College of Education can enhance their existing skills or learn new ones to further their career goals.
